About Copperfin Plumbing
The people behind Copperfin Plumbing and how we work.
Started in 2023 by Kabelo Maseko
Kabelo worked with other residential plumbing teams from 2016. He started Copperfin Plumbing so he could speak with customers directly and keep the work local.
We work in houses and smaller rental properties in Randburg, Northcliff, Linden, Blairgowrie, Ferndale and nearby parts of Johannesburg. Our customers are homeowners, landlords and small property managers. They usually get in touch because something is leaking or blocked, a fixture needs replacing, or they're planning a small renovation.

The team
There are three of us, so you'll usually deal with the same people from start to finish.
- Kabelo Maseko, owner and lead plumber
- Ruan Botha, plumbing assistant
- Leah Pillay, bookings and administration

How we work, and what we're working towards
Owner-led assessments
Kabelo does the first assessment himself. He explains what he finds and talks you through the options.
Your approval comes first
Work starts only once you've approved the quote. If something else comes up, you hear about it, and the cost, before we do more.
Visits confirmed personally
When you ask for a time, we check it and confirm it with you ourselves.
Tidy when we leave
We clear up the work area before we go, so there's no mess left for you to deal with.
Local by choice
We focus on Randburg and the nearby suburbs. If you're further out, ask us first and we'll tell you whether we can help.
Our mission
To sort out everyday plumbing problems without leaving anyone confused about the work or the cost. We explain the job, agree it with you and leave the space tidy.
Our vision
To grow into a dependable two-team business serving the same local area. We would rather earn repeat customers and referrals than spread across the city or claim we can do every job.
What happens after you get in touch
Every job follows the same steps, from your first message to the invoice.
- 01
Send us your enquiry
Use the quote form, call or send a WhatsApp. Tell us your suburb, the service you need and what's going on.
- 02
We review it and get back to you
We check your area and the type of job, and ask for anything we still need. We aim to reply within two working hours during opening hours.
- 03
We agree a visit
We agree a time that suits you. If there's a call-out charge, you'll know the amount before the visit is confirmed.
- 04
Assessment and quote
At the visit we assess the work and give you a quote. Nothing starts until you approve it. If a deposit is needed, it's agreed as part of the quote.
- 05
We do the work
We carry out the work you approved and check with you before doing anything extra.
- 06
Test, tidy and invoice
We test the result, tidy the work area and send an invoice. Payment is by EFT once the work is complete.
