About these terms

Copperfin Plumbing is a fictional business used to demonstrate website building, and it does not accept real plumbing bookings. These terms show how a small plumbing business might set out its terms. By using this website, you agree to them.

Using this website

The information on this website is general and may change. The photos are illustrative and do not show completed customer jobs.

Enquiries are not bookings

Sending a quote request, calling or messaging us does not book a visit. A visit is only booked once we have confirmed a time with you personally. We aim to reply within two working hours during opening hours, but we can't promise immediate attendance or an exact arrival time.

Call-out charges

If a visit has a call-out charge, we tell you what it is and agree it with you before the visit is confirmed.

Quotes and approval

We assess the work and give you a quote before starting. For bathroom and kitchen plumbing, we visit the site and give you a written quote first. Work only starts once you approve the quote. If we find something else that needs doing, we explain it and agree the cost with you before going further.

Deposits and payment

Payment is by EFT once the work is complete. If a job needs a deposit, the amount is agreed in the quote before any work starts. We don't take payments through this website.

Cancelling or rescheduling

You can cancel or reschedule free of charge until the plumber leaves for your visit. Any call-out charge is agreed with you beforehand.

Fixtures you supply

You're welcome to buy your own tap, toilet or other fixture. We check that it's suitable before we fit it. Parts availability can affect when work is done.

What we don't do

We do plumbing only. We don't do electrical or gas work, tiling or full renovations. Major sewer excavation and municipal infrastructure are outside our normal scope. We don't offer a 24-hour emergency service. We also don't offer maintenance contracts.
